Mussel appetizers straight from the source not even an hour out of the water...steamed then on the barbie in butter and garlic, drizzled with white wine and parmasiano...delectable as I could gather from those who could eat them (I'm deathly allergic so I relished vicariously through others).

Three more families joined us today, which was a perfect summer day on all counts. That's 7 adults and nine children 6 and under. They loved climbing the tall pine trees!!
