More appointments!

Back to the hospital today (that's 4 visits in 10 days) for the leg scan that was ordered on Friday as they decided at my antenatal appointment that I am at risk of deep vein thrombosis.

The good news is that the results show no evidence of clots although I do have some enlarged veins in my calves so I need to keep wearing the sexy anti-embolism stockings. The doctor in the Maternity Assessment Unit said no further action needs to be taken at this time. Hooray!

I popped by to have my monthly blood test to check up on my thyroid levels and vitamin D deficiency situation.

All being well, after the last week I will be glad of a couple of hospital-free weeks. (I hope I haven't just jinxed it!)
