The Royal Oak, Barking

I have only ever been in here once - an embarrassing story.
I guess I was early twenties and single.
Me and a mate heard they had a 'singles disco' there so we thought we'd give it a go.
It was in the back room. A big hall. The only people there were me and Steve and two girls and the DJ playing cheesy pop.
I asked one of the girls to dance, she declined and we all just sat there like fools hoping more people would turn up.
They didn't!

Managed to get a nice photo of it today whilst working on the building opposite.
