Pam

This is Pam.
She is a member of my running club, Ilford AC, and has been a member for 40+ years.
A very succesful amatuer runner in her time, she is still amongst the top 10 ladies in her age group in the country.
Anyone who knows Pam will tell you that she is the nicest person you could meet. Even if she is not running races she will stand in the wind and cold to cheer on other club members. She bakes us cakes, knits us scarves and even makes the odd teddy bear!
She has had a tough couple of years with her husband dying after a long battle with dementia, only to find out a month later that her sister was diagnosed with it too.
Despite all this Pam always has a big smile and cheery nature.
Last night was our track night. A few people cried off because of the severe winds we had down here.

Pam is 79!
