Portrait Practice

I have a lovely new portrait lens and I need some practice. I've taken some photos of D and I'm now looking for inspiration elsewhere..at least this subject kept still!

I've just started to write the plan for my HND Graded Unit, which is a part portrait, part documentary study of people over the age of eighty, looking at how they see themselves. 

I have already recruited a few subjects and they all look a lot better than this one, I'm pleased to say.
