Pray for rain

This was the garden this morning, awaiting phase 2 of the de-bogging, new turf. The gardners spent all of yesterday removing the old, sad turf and then digging holes and trying to ensure that there would be adequate drainage in the future so that the lawn doesn't turn into a fish pond ever again.
By lunchtime today they'd laid new turf over the carefully prepared ground, it's going to need watering daily for a while, joy.
