Bright Eyes

This little fella was out to play up the garden near the veg patch. He was with a gang of baby bunnies but it wasn't all sunshine & lolly-pops. It was all kicking off out there! The bunnies were being chased off their patch by the other garden's residents. The moorhens were running & pecking at them & the magpies were trying to peck their eyes out! The moorhens can do as they please, they're a protected species in this garden, but the sight of the magpie's circling brought Mick into action & he was soon stealthily lurking in the conservatory with silenced rifle, waiting for his moment. It's all rather grim & wouldn't look out of place in the Godfather!

Thankfully, the day ended with no hits or casualties, apart from Rafa Nadal, who was muscled off court by a pumped up Lukas Rosol in an epic & unmissable 2nd round match at Wimbledon. Never seen anything like it! Would have been great to have been there. Loving the tennis. Getting Jenny into it too. Winning!
