Found Memories

A wee while ago, when I was rummaging through some of my parents old photographs, I came across some negatives that I'd never seen photos of, so I got them developed. This is one of those photos.

It shows my parents (sitting), and my my great-granny Evans (my father's grandmother). This photo was taken at great-granny Evans' Tay Street home in Invercargill NZ, and would date from about 1954 - 55.

I don't remember great-granny Evans, as I'm pretty sure she died before I was born (or maybe when I was a baby).

It's great finding 'new' old photos of my parents - it's like getting an unexpected present.

I miss them a lot.
