Rain Drops

It rained last night.

I was up at the crack of dawn this morning trying to photograph the tuis feeding in the flax outside my bedroom window. I had watched for a while from my bed, then decided it was too good to miss. But when I arrived at the flax with camera in hand - the tuis had disappeared. I lurked in the  flaxes for a while hoping they would come back and practised capturing raindrops to fill in the time. Sadly,  no tuis returned,  but there were plenty of raindrops and somehow, I didn't get around to taking any more photos today.

So, raindrops it is.
