Bronco Jumpers

It was a gorgeous sunny day in the low 70s today and the last thing I wanted to do was put the winter cover on our trailer.  I had planned to go back and photograph the barn that wasn't shown in last Sunday's blip but it had to be done and Pipersdad needed my help. The trailer storage lot is about a quarter mile from the local airport (and the headquarters of Mile Hi Skydiving) and it was a busy day in the sky.  I'm so glad I brought my camera.  These jumpers' parachutes are the Denver Bronco team colors and it was so cool to see them in formation.....and we wouldn't have seen them at all if we hadn't been there.  Serendipity!  The barn will be there next week. ;-)

The first extra is another jumper with a USA flag colored parachute.  The second extra is the sky diving plane heading in for a landing after dropping off  jumpers.  You can see that the jumping door on the side of the plane is open and note how low he is from the treetop just below him.  It was a good day at the storage lot! :-))

Edit:  This really looks better large on the dark background.
