First Frost

1 deg C when Ollie and I went along to feed the hens this morning!  The first frost of the winter, lovely to look at and crisp underfoot.  Flat calm too, but back to wind and rain later in the day.

Cooked cottage pie and date and walnut cake - just the weather for it!
