Windy day

The gales didn't affect Orkney as badly as were forecast, I think Shetland came off a lot worse, as did places further south.  Today it was chilly and windy, but the sun shone and so vitamin D levels were able to be topped up once again!  

It was the start of the Christmas season in the craft shop, with mulled wine and festive refreshments,  new Christmas goods and the opening of the new exhibition in the Loft Gallery.  Lots of folk there, several works of art sold and a very busy shop, so a good day all round.  There's no point trying to ignore it, Christmas is coming and we intend to enjoy it!
