Little Grebe

What is that Sundays always seem to be filled with housework and laundry? I did take a break to go to the RSPB reserve for a couple of hours with Mr L. It was very cold and so windy, not much was to be seen. A nice walk though, and I did see my first Little Grebe, pictured. There was a lone Great Crested Grebe really struggling with the wind and lashing waves, and although it's not a great photo I have put as an extra as a memento to his battle!

On to The Ship Hotel for their carvery lunch and then home to the ironing.

A few weeks ago Mr L upgraded our laptop to Windows 10 and I haven't even looked at it, so took an hour this afternoon to work it out and back up my blip. Not as easy as it first sounds as the app I had downloaded previously now wasn't recognised. I had to search through all the Blipfoto friends posts in Facebook to find the original link and download again. It took longer than planned, but was successful and now I am settled down for my annual guilty pleasure of I'm a Celebrity!
