Cherry picking (and window cleaning) was cancelled for the day because of high winds. Or perhaps they don't work on Saturdays. Seen on a  trip to my Aunt’s local shops to pick up a few things I didn’t get on Thursday. 

Left for home at 1.30pm expecting to run into horrendous weather as we travelled west. The forecasters must have got their timings wrong as we actually saw a glimpse of sunshine in Carlisle and there was only light drizzle from there to Keswick.  It was only the final 10 miles that were wet and puddly.
