No 182: Crag Martin

So, not my best bird blip photo ever, but definitely the rarest. Rarity Status: Mega - honest! This is only the 10th confirmed record of this bird in the UK. It was first spotted in Chesterfield nearly a week ago. Typically, we were in Norfolk. But it has stuck around so I had to go and have a twitch today, and was lucky enough to see it as soon as I arrived. It seems to have chosen the iconic location of the Crooked Spire so tracking it down was the easy bit. Getting any sort of shot was a bonus, as it was whizzing around very quickly indeed.
