Skype our good friends in Toulouse (blippers will have enjoyed our visits to them over the years.)   Relieved to know that their son who lives in Paris is safe.   What heartbreaking stories are coming out now.   I fear this will be repeated now.....

Today I should have been packing for Khartoum.    Having turned down an invitation to examine back in the Sudan this month - I admit to being grateful that I don't have to make the journey.
