Puddle splashing

Today's the day ............................... to enjoy the rain

I don't want to go on about the rain we had today - because you will think that I am totally obsessed with it.

Honestly though, I don't think I have ever seen the like of it in all my time in Kendal. It sounded much like the Manchester Monsoon described by blouseybrown in her journal - so it was probably a northwest England thing. It was actually quite scary if you got caught in it.

However, after it was all over and all that remained were the puddles - this little boy had such fun running up and down through the water. He was shrieking with laughter inspite of the fact that he must have been soaked to the skin. It was impossible not to laugh with him!

Bet he sleeps well tonight ................................
