Our Alexander rose ordered last summer has arrived for November planting.
You may remember that we returned from holiday to find the original dead https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2067625157299538359 after many years of stunning flowers.

Chris dug the hole out and we placed a large tub in it to prevent anyone from accidentally falling into it but as you can see the hole is also full of water! With the weather outside and the forecast over the weekend I don't think it will dry out any time soon.

A big thank you to airedaleknitter for an excellent fundraising coffee morning and an impromptu blip meet with Wendles56, Yorkshirebred, WilsdenWalker, Corinthian Column, LoveLupins17, Bezzie Pet, MidgeholeDave, FotoJunci and Majikat amongst others. Lovely cakes and company. Hope you made lots of money for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.

In for the afternoon now watching the Rugby League test, England v New Zealand. Close match and one all so far so all will be determined today.
