Mist in the Morning

Woke up to a very different day today - misty and cold. This deep ploughing is probably to plant pine trees, subsidized by the EU, and probably pulled up vines to do it - but that's a story for another day...

Extra is the happy street, not sweeper, but vacuumer (though notice twig broom on back of vaccum) in Cabeção, where we spent the night with the town baker. Breakfast was in their pastelaria.

Then, an important meeting - decided will almost certainly live in Mora for first year, though no house as yet - will have to trust...

Now in the most amazing place near Évora, Quinta do Cano, a B&B run by a Dutch couple, with three Irish wolfhounds and a dachshund. Sitting in the library with a welcome drink and the fire blazing... such blessing.
