Another Thursday Light Show

After last week's fireworks, this week it's the turning on of the village C........ Lights (I know, it's far too early for a C........ Blip, but they start early in Clarks' Village to catch the hordes visiting for Glastonbury Carnival next week).

This was part of the light show on the stage where local schools had been singing carols earlier.

This morning saw another annual ritual in our house: the planing of the downstairs bathroom door, which always seems to warp so badly at this time of year that it won't shut at all.

Having removed an alarmingly large pile of shavings, I can now confirm that the door now both shuts and locks and the C......... Festivities can go ahead!
