A Night on the Tiles!!

Well, an afternoon actually!!

After a morning in Bath at my OT course, I met up with my parents and a very distant relative (my third cousin?!) who arrived from New Zealand only today, for an afternoon visit to Dyrham Park.

“2015 is a major year for Dyrham Park as it replaces the leaking roof on the 17th-century mansion house… Dyrham Park is undergoing a massive £3.8m conservation project to replace its leaking roof - giving you the opportunity to see it like never before… On top of this, a 360 degree walkway has been created in the scaffold structure to allow you to see the work taking place on the roof and look out over the park and garden.”

Thankfully there was a lift to take you up to the rooftop, and despite the windy conditions, it felt completely safe walking about amongst the chimney pots, though the lift did start to sway slightly on the way down!
