Light on the pond.

The sun was rising through the trees in the St Ives Estate on our morning walk today. When we got round to Coppice Pond it was making this lovely column of reflected light on the water.

Even more of note than the sun this morning was Toby's new haircut! See extra.

It was a dash to the hairdressers afterwards and then I met up with a friend for lunch at Heaton Tennis Club. I've never been before despite the fact my mother in law used to live virtually opposite and it was a very pleasant experience.

Home now as the weather gets wilder and the skies darken. Not sure if we are in line for this storm or not. Stay safe all.
