Night Guard

This is a picture of me when I was still in Basic Training at Lackland  Air Force base in Texas.    I still remember raising my right hand and giving my life to the United States Air Force and wondering what the heck was I thinking!!   Well it turned out to be one of the best things I ever did and was glad that I did it.     I spent 4 years in active duty and the next 15 as an Air Force wife while Joe put in his 20 years.  We retired after 20 and moved here to the Pacific North West were my family lived.     We made lots of wonderful friends while in the service and were proud to serve and proud of those who served with us.     thanks to all the Veterans here and abroad who have served your Country!    Included in the extra is a picture of Joe and our 2 children who also served.  
      We also took advantage of all the free meals today!  Lunch at Olive Garden and Dinner at Apple bees!!  It was really great and we felt honored.   AND  we didn't have to cook!
