Rites of passage
I have been ruminating on the blips of One day at a time and I have to acknowledge the point that unless you have posted a moon photo or a flower photo then you can't be considered a fully fledged member of the Blip community.
A few months ago I took a shot of some flowers in a bin but as they were deceased there's a doubt in my mind as to whether that would have really counted.
Hence the Yellow Rose of Haddington.
This yellow rose only comes out in our front garden after the first frost has kicked in. I don't know what variety it is and it was planted before our arrival in the house eight years ago. It's obviously a hardy little soul and may kick around until late December giving us some much needed colour amongst all the fallen leaves and branches. The Tesco carrier bags also give some colourful relief but not as welcome as the rose.
Coming soon - a Moon blip.
