Starry Night - Vincent Van Gogh

Today I researched Vincent Van Gogh and his "Starry Night". It is a very famous and no doubt beautiful painting. As I tried to recreate it I found that the city below was the most difficult part as well as at first I painted the giant figure black and then realized it was actually green...my quick cover up seemed to work out okay. Overall I loved trying to recreate it and am very proud of my result - I didn't think it would turn out as good as it did. I hope only to improve from here and one day paint a beautiful sky of my own.
