New Neighbor

We were aware that we had seagulls nesting between the chimney pots and although we couldn't see them from our house, a neighbor near by could and kept us informed as to their progress

This morning whilst in the garden I looked up and there were the two chicks taking a wander along the roof. Apart from the noise down the chimney we have not been too bothered by them and they seemed more concerned with other seagulls flying overhead than us coming and going.

We did not want the gulls there in the first place but you have to admire there fortitude in sitting up there all through this awful weather with no protection and now raising a couple of chicks.

I have just heard from another neighbor that one of the gulls has jusr taken one of her prized goldfish!!! OH DEAR.
