Sea Mist on the Cobb

My wanderings took me to Lyme Regis today, and the drive over in thick mist led me to believe that it would be the same there.

I was not to be disappointed , the mist was sat over the coast like a thick blanket but the air was warm and the town was busy with holiday makers and indeed, people swimming and the tourist boats at the Cobb were doing a good trade with mackerel fishing trips

Once or twice the mist started to lift, only to sink down again and as we left it came on to rain and people scuttled into the the cafes and pubs for their lunches.

Lyme Regis is a grand town to wander around and but for the fact we live nearby, a place where I would go for a holiday.
