Memories of an Indian palace in Mysore.......

On one of my Indian trips I visited Mysore. I had a beautiful necklace made in a silversmiths and while I was waiting for the final pieces to be put into place we watched the weekly light display at the palace. The prince lights up the palace with thousands of light bulbs and allows visitors to wander around the grounds, a very beautiful scene indeed. This coaster came from a nearby workshop, it is made of marble with tiny fragments of mother of pearl and malachite.
