Monday Macro - American Bison
A rainy day today so an indoor macro became the challenge for the day. It is not a medium I am at all comfortable with and get a bit tangled with the bits and pieces, the viewfinder, tripod and cable release, plus of course the camera. My patience is also challenged on a Monday but I eventually took a shot I was reasonably happy with!!!
Today's shot is of a delightful figurine of an American Bison. It was made by Lalique, a French company started in 1885 by Rene Lalique and is still operating today. It is famous for the translucent quality of the glass.
