"Are you looking at me?"

Had a good day. Roger was home today. He's had a really tough week at work. He had to go in last Saturday morning, then he put in a 15-hr day on Monday and he worked Tuesday, which he should have had off for Veterans Day. So today was his day off in lieu. We had a nice lazy start, had a good breakfast, then went off to Sharon Woods for a walk , where we met this little fella. There were loads of squirrels scampering around - several with big nuts in their mouths which looked too big for them - but none of them would stay still long enough except for this one, who was quite happy to pose for a while. He was carrying on a conversation with us too! I tried catching another one, who had a nut in its mouth - it would stay still for a second then rush off, then stop and look at me, as if to say "He he, you cant catch me!" It was hard to know which photo to use for a blip today as I also had a couple of decent duck shots and a couple of snakes - long thin ones, stretched out on some grass stalks below us, by the water, sunning themselves. We'd never have seen them, but there was a young guy standing watching them, and he had already seen me with my camera, so he pointed them out to us. What it is to have the good eyesight of a young person! Then we had a late lunch at the European Cafe in Montgomery - we particularly like their gyros.
