Salty Kisses!

The two of us enjoyed the Premiere Preview at Art A Fair in Laguna Beach this evening . . . so many people . . . they couldn't be stirred with a spoon, but the excitement of another summer celebrating art in Laguna Beach was in evidence everywhere this evening.

We greatly appreciated the generous offer one artist made us several weeks ago for free tickets to attend tonight and the pass is good all summer long. She also gave us two passes to the Festival of the Arts which is held at the Pageant of the Masters grounds--a favorite summer place for us. In Laguna when June waves goodbye, July and August break loose in celebration.

This evening's view is from our motel room. This is surely one of the least expensive places to stay in Laguna Beach and we think a secret that few people know about -- so don't tell anyone.

And the three pooches from Funville -- well, I took them to the boarding place early this afternoon. I packed all the food they'll need for the next three days, each of their beds, and a favorite toy for each of them. They all get to stay together in one little room. While I was waiting for these three to get checked-in, Max got so excited that he lifted his leg and you-know-what-all-over my left foot! I couldn't believe it. Thankfully I had on short pants and flip-flops. I think he was so excited he couldn't help himself and I'm sure he didn't know he was doing that to me. The kennel worker took Chloe back first and she was so scared, she made little puddles on the floor. Once they took Chloe, little Mitzi started doing a "sing-song chant," she was so perplexed that she had not gotten to go too. Then Mitzi was taken and Max just about went crazy waiting for his turn. By the time I made my exit, we had made our presence known at that place and thoroughly baptized the floor of the Norco Animal Hospital and Kennel. Nothing about us is normal!

So now we're enjoying the ocean air and hoping for suntanned shoulders and salty kisses (from each other). I love summer!
