Emergency Blip!

It's been a good day really!

I had a lovely soak in the bath this morning, then we went off to do Tesco, via a trip up to the hospital. I got my coat back and I gave them the chocolates and card. They were really thrilled! 

After doing the shopping, we went out for lunch at the Slug and Lettuce. (Cocktails too of course!) I took this shot while we were in there. The reflection made it look like the restaurant's chandelier was hanging in the doorway of the empty shopping mall opposite!

We then went to try a newly opened bar in one of Lincoln's oldest buildings - the Cardinal's Hat.It's a gorgeous place, with lots of real ales and ciders. I wouldn't eat there - the menu is proper "hipster" with things like braised pigs cheeks?!

Anyway, that's where the only problem of the day came up! I went to take some shots of the great decor in there, and my camera went what can only be described as weird! The image and all the information on the viewing screen was upside down all of a sudden! I don't know how it happened and I knew even less of how to get it back the right way up!

So it was a detour via the shop it came from on the way home, and my camera is now sent away for repair! It will be gone 3 - 4 weeks apparently! So in the meantime I will be back to my old camera!

I probably would not have used this shot if I'd been able to get any others!

This time tomorrow I will be back at work for my first shift after being ill!
