The end of an enjoyable day

Friends have gone home and one is left with a warm glow and a pile of washing up  and clearing away, which one doesn't mind doing after a happy day, while outside there is the gale is blowing and the rain is lashing at  the windows.

Roast lamb and potatoes and vegetables followed by blackberry and apple crumble and lemon tart and cheese.  S and S and B came to lunch as B is soon moving to Lymington in Hampshire. We shall miss not having her nearby.
