Another trip

Yesterday we were driven by some other friends, A and J, to A's brother and wife who have moved to Dursley. There we had tea in their new house and then met up later at The Bell at Selsley for supper and where we were staying the night.  The pub is 16C and Grade II listed on top of a hill overlooking Stroud and the downs beyond. Today we drove up onto the downs and then made our way home via Bath where we had a snack at The Brew House, a student pub which A's son and his company had acquired and refurbished to what it is today.
Home before dark.



Just a note: there was a lot of work-up noise of jet fighters coming from the local airbase on our return to Somerset, and also on the previous morning.
