Walking through Thyme
What a fabulous day the 22 of us had when we walked from Bannockburn through the wild thyme to Stewart Town. The perfume from the flowers was delightful. In this photo you can see us walking or struggling up the hill towards the top of the cliff face. The day was brilliantly sunny, and the views were simply stunning. A great day to be out and about. After lunch at Stewart Town we headed back to the cars, then had a refreshing cuppa at a local Bannockburn Cafe.
The extra photos are of us climbing up the steep track towards the top, and the old mud hut, the only remains left at Stewart Town.
