More cake!

Still eating the leftovers from dinner party on Sat night!
Last bit of crunchy chocolate bakewell tart tonight and Mr I made cherry sauce from cherries we bought at wknd that were soon about to go off.
Then I wanted to use up some lemons that were heading the same way and ended up baking a Nigella cake called damp lemon & almond cake.
Going away with friends at the wknd and will bring this cake. Nigella reckons it is even better after a few days wrapped in foil.
I think I just baked a cake by accident there.
And I'm boilt - warm day.
Need a lie down now.

In other news we are going to see Rhys Darby (aka Murray from Flight of the Conchords) tomorrow night.
