Aston Martin DB 10

The weather has been lousy today. We have been travelling too much in recent weeks, and wanted a quiet weekend.

But we also needed to do some shopping, so decided to go somewhere different this afternoon. Wilmslow doesn't take too long to get to, although we do not really know it, and we thought it must have some interesting shops. Actually - it's a bit of a disappointing centre both architecturally and in its range of shops. It could be almost anywhere. Except ....

....... I am not into cars (I regard them as a means of getting from A to B), but couldn't help noticing that there were quite a few Aston Martin's driving around this wealthy town today. Our lunch stop was opposite the Aston Martin Showroom, which seemed surprisingly lively, so we went in. I learnt that this vehicle - the DB10 it seems - features in the new James Bond film Spectre, and is one of a total production run of ten made especially for the film (they are hand made). James Bond obviously has no taste whatsoever !
