I cycled all the way round Kielder water today....26 miles, so was quite pleased with myself! We had lots of picnic and photograph stops though. This shelter has panoramic views of the reservoir and the surrounding landscape and is known as "Belvedere". A belvedere is a structure designed to overlook a good view. It comes from the Italian for "beautiful to see". The weather today was glorious..........is it really November?
