Fading Rainbow
So today I went for my first hyperbaric oxygen therapy session.
It was odd, the mask initially didn't fit, but then my fellow Lyme Disease sufferer and friend Heather and I were locked into this 'diving bell', we were pressurised and breathed 100% oxygen for about an hour, after which we were decompressed.
I felt tingling sensations in my hands, which apparently means it is working... even though you need a fair few sessions before things really take effect.
I am hoping to improve and possibly revert some of the neurological damage done by the Lyme infection. Fingers crossed! I can do without being utterly clumsy, dropping things, tripping over my own feet but especially I can do without the nerve pain and stabbing sensations and numbness.
When I drove home this afternoon, the sun came out very briefly in the rain while it was setting. The sky was on fire and I took about 30 photo's I had to choose one Blip from. It was a toss up between this fading double rainbow or my extra.
Best seen in 'large' against a dark background.
