Where are the bunnies?
St Ives seems to be going through a bit of a rainy spell at the moment. We got soaked yesterday on our walks and this morning it was raining again. We had the whole beach to ourselves because nobody else seems to walk their pooches in the rain?! Needless to say the house has smelt of wet dog for most of the day. Don't you just hate that? Well Ann does. Us doggies don't really notice things like 'wet dog smell'??
Ann wasn’t working today so she’d told us she would take us on ‘big long walk’ if the weather was nice. But the weather wasn’t nice. It rained and it rained and it rained and it rained, until eventually this afternoon Ann said, ‘OK, dogs, it’s not going to stop raining so we’ll go to Asda and then I’ll take you for yet another walk in the rain.’
So we went to the dunes for our walk because Ann couldn’t face taking us on the beach again and do you know what?.............................. the sun came out for at least an hour.
It was fabulous on the dunes. All the bunnies had come out of their burrows and were basking in the sunshine. Obviously ‘basking bunnies’ need to be chased.
Ozzy, my very gorgeous golden retriever boyfriend, likes chasing bunnies too. It’s one of our shared interests?!
We both got a bit frustrated though............................. Ann kept making us sit so that she could Blip us with the lovely blue sky in the background. We were supposed to look at the camera and smile. But we didn’t want to be Blipped, we didn’t want to sit, we didn’t want to look at the camera and we didn’t want to smile.
We wanted to go chasing bunnies............................
....................So that is what we did.
But we didn’t catch any. Boohoooooo.
