Evening Storm

Friends of a neighbor were visiting here for a week, and we all had a little party up on the deck of their apt. As we were loading the little card table with snackage, some of which they had brought from Denver, we watched a giant storm cloud approach and soon there was a torrential downpour! (I also have to mention they brought the most delicious wine that we have ever tasted!)

A beautiful rainbow arched over us, and  the sunset over the mountains turned the sky purple. 

Fireworks blasted into the night sky as part of the Day of the Dead. 
Another special night in Oaxaca.
