2015 Monday -- Victoria Gardens

We drove north a few miles to the Victoria Gardens shopping area so that we could stop in at the Apple Computer store. I'm looking for a better ear bud/micro combo, but did not find one I wanted because they are all so expensive.

We also stopped at the Arizona Tile store to get samples of tile that we had previously selected at the Totally Tile store in Paseo Robles (in Central California). We needed to match the tile with carpet swatches because it's now time to select the carpet we want.

We are definitely going to get the StainMaster brand carpet; we've had it in our southern California home for 21 years and it's been a great product. StainGuard's newest product is PetGuard carpeting with a foam pad under it that is made specially for pet protection. The sales man said it protects against the three P's -- pee, poop, and puke.

This coming Saturday morning the carpet installer will be at our beach shack to measure. Then it takes several weeks for the carpet to arrive once it's ordered.

Little-by-little our little beach shack is being transformed into into a home where we think we'll spend our retirement years.
