It was always burning Since the world was turning

Tonight in Alingsås we walked through the festival of lights. The whole town is lit up with various art installations made from lights. This one represented natural light and the start of a forest fire. Across the river from where we stood the sounds of thunder rolling then cracking and lightening striking as the trees were lit up and then turned red as is they burned. It was a fascinating walk. The kids wrapped up in their ski suits and hats running through the parks to discover shadow puppet theatres to try, lights to run through and even a photo booth that we all tried out which then projected the snaps onto a giant screen for all to see (maybe one for another day).
All this after a morning at the park in all it's glorious Autumn colours. It's a very beautiful place.
