The Morning after the Night Before!

Venturing out into the garden this morning to hang out the washing I was delighted to see lots of spiders webs covered in dew / mist (moisture!) sparkling in the sunlight. It was quite a sight seeing as it had been Halloween the night before … thought Mother Nature was having a right giggle with us! These little webs were everywhere (including the washing line itself!) and this particular specimen caught my eye as it was complete with spider in the centre!

Today was a bit of a day for ‘blowing the cobwebs away’ … pottering around the house in the morning having a sort out … and then heading out to Elmsett panto rehearsal in the afternoon. Unfortunately a lot of the cast were absent today meaning that rehearsals were difficult, but we did manage a good session on one of the early scenes and it’s great seeing it begin to take shape.

Driving home after rehearsal was interesting as the fog came back down really quickly mid-afternoon so it was bit of an eerie drive back (just a case of keeping Halloween going!). So it was lovely to get home, light the candles and settle down for an evening’s TV viewing … see if we were right on who was leaving ‘Strictly’ and a bit of Downton to finish off (particularly like this episode as it was filmed at Goodwood – a favourite airfield to visit!).
