Keston Ponds...

...looking magnificent this afternoon! 

Friends asked if we were free for a walk after the service this morning. Something I had already wanted to do to mark the last day of the holiday and to enjoy this glorious autumn day. 

We walked across the common to the ponds, had an ice cream, and walked home again, just as the sun set. 

And I have finished my holiday journal and it's been good, remembering the times we had and places we saw.
