Long way down.....!

The Food Hall in John Lewis, Oxford Street is on the fifth floor and after having got up there, we had to travel down again - and it is some way down! Not quite sure now how I managed to take this, but I do recall the tummy churning feeling as I did so!

A full and interesting day in London with a variety of agendas, starting at Buckingham Palace, a walk down The Mall into St James' Park to Admiralty Arch and The Cenotaph. Then across to Trafalgar Square and Regents Street - to look at the vintage and modern cars on show today - and finally to Sports Direct in Oxford Street for new tennis shoes (very specific) and John Lewis for a late lunch. The tube took us back to Victoria and then home. Phew!

Oh, and an Abba tribute band concert in the evening. Excellent!
