Laodicea....

..and some amazing excavations which cannot be done justice to without actually being there, so I have chosen some old pillars and excellent reconstructions...and I like the perspective. 

It was another misty morning but the wonder and history of this city which received a letter from Saint Paul and is recorded in the book of Revelation in the bible, just made that insignificant. There were very few visitors today and plenty of time to wander and wonder....

Then onto a carpet factory which was another experience! I learnt a lot...and needed LOTS of money to be a proud owner of one of the pieces of art created entirely by hand.
