Saturday: Kitchen Installation

We mentioned to Newman and C yesterday that we were going to do a run to the charity shop this morning to get rid of some stuff, including quite a lot of books.  They were interested to have first dibs on them so invited us over for breakfast so they could have a rifle through.  They cooked up a lovely breakfast, including some fabulously slow cooked tomatoes.  I particularly admired this kitchen installation of theirs - each can is filled with bottle tops.......

From there it was a domestic day - first to the aforementioned charity shop, then on to buy human food, followed by cat food.  We spent way more on cat food than we did on food for ourselves.......

And, to top off the day, a mammoth session of '24', season 8.
