Lovin' it

For me this is what it is all about, having our children at home; just enjoying a morning of tea and breakfast and chilling and talking. In fact I could do this for the rest of my life with family and friends and people I've never met. Life - or this bit of it - should be one long lazy cup of tea and the sofa and cats ....

We pretty much kept this going until lunchtime, including at one point smoked salmon bacon - yes you heard me right, we bought it in Whole Foods in Picadilly - with sourdough and cardamom  scrambled egg. 

Shopping in the amazing Halloween sunshine - can't believe it is the 1st of November tomorrow - got a big bag of fifteen really nice samosas for a tenner - then came home and - you guessed it - sat on the sofa drinking tea.

Going out to a pub in North London tonight - friend's fiftieth birthday - might take the sofa with us ...
