Pumpkin Patch...

I was in Chorlton today to check on the latest changes to the garden I designed for Dig The City back in the Summer. It's been converted into the Macmillan Nurse Pumpkin Patch. For people outside the UK who might come across this blip, Macmillan nurses are specially trained nurses who help people, and their families, who are in the final stages of cancer. They are very highly thought of and finance all their work through charitable donations. Here people have paid to put their carved pumpkins onto the garden, a winner will be chosen and all proceeds will go to Macmillan Nurses.
